Opened in 1994, Night Safari is the world’s first safari park for nocturnal animals. It houses over 2,500 animals representing over 130 species, of which 38% are threatened species. The animals ranging from Indian rhinoceros to the endangered Asian elephant, are separated from visitors with natural barriers.
You may be surprised to know that the lighting is similar to the full moon, just a bit brighter. This allows the animals to act and behave as they normally would in the wild. The entire nocturnal park is open air, which recreates a true ‘walk in the wild’ experience. This unique experience allows you to explore the 86 acres by walking trails or by tram.
Cultural performances including tribal dances and fire eating displays as well as Creatures of the Night Show, a performance presented by the animals, are being performed here.
You can take a guided tram ride through 7 geographical zones of the world or be escorted by a personal tour guide on the private Safari Adventurer Tour. Indulge in a five-course candlelit meal on the tram with the award-winning Gourmet Safari Express.
